The Badness Of China’s Animal Abuse: Free The Animals
The current state of animal cruelty in China is concerning for all of humanity, as we continue to see more and more cases of brutality and cruelty by the Chinese government. China has been increasingly challenging and stepping into other countries, including the United States, to gain influence in the name of development. The country has been stepping up to do more harm to the rest of the world with its initiatives, including its trade policy and its purchase of weapons, all of which they can benefit from. You may have seen the continuous accusations of war crimes, though these seem to have dissipated in the recent past. Some people, including President Trump, have been engaged in a great deal of talk of trade with China in a battle for dominance in the world. In a recent report, Chinese authorities stated that farmers should not have fed their animals arsenic because it promotes cancer. If there is one positive, it’s that the report has alerted many Chinese people to the atrocities occurring in the country’s farming industry, to make us all aware of the fact that they aren’t simply stepping over steps, they are literally stepping over the ones they just stepped on.
South America has been the focal point for the struggles of human kind in China, because of the economic incentive that had been given to the animals in this region to catch way more prey in the resulting shortage. Some farm owners in the area had been placing arsenic tablets inside of animal feed to force their livestock to fish faster, and more quickly and profit. Animals with brain damage, gastrointestinal diseases, and other injuries were also affected. This is just one of many cases of animal cruelty that China continues to be known for, and it is a trend that we need to end as a global community. If we can, we will be able to stay ahead of even the least responsible members of our societies, giving these countries a chance to finally develop their own necessities, without continually undermining each other and being associated in suspicion and stigma with the rest of the world. What the Chinese government has been doing to animals must stop.
